Barbara de la Torre is a physician with board-certification in family medicine and medical acupuncture. She also holds a master's certification in medical qigong. She believes traditional East Asian medicine should be mainstream and integral to the healthcare system and strives to bridge the divide between Eastern and Western healthcare practitioners.
Barbara has always been fascinated with microsystems and how they can be utilized in modern clinical practice and as a self-care tool for the general population. She began her study of KHT over 30 years ago and is dedicating time since 2024 to share her KHT and qigong knowledge with practitioners and the lay community.
